Your Wedding at Round Barn Farm

Hello! I’m Laura Blois, the owner and wedding venue host at the Round Barn Farm.
Thank you for considering hosting your wedding with us. We currently offer one wedding package. Please see our package offerings and we are happy to work with you to ensure that we provide the ultimate venue for your wedding.

What to Expect When Booking the Round Barn:

We Include:

A truly private venue providing a unique country experience for your event in a designated provincial heritage, one-of-a-kind barn. The view from the property includes our cows grazing in the fields and a sunset view overlooking the Bay of Fundy.

Three days of access! For example, Saturday weddings have access a day prior for decorating and rehearsal from 12 pm to 5 pm, all day Saturday until 1 am, and again Sunday morning until 3 pm for any clean-up and gathering of decorations.

The barn has a capacity for 160 people, this includes your wedding party and vendors.

Exclusive access to the grounds surrounding the barn and the upper and lower levels of the barn for your rehearsal, ceremony, and reception.

Round Barn Farm will provide tables and chairs, we have 120 wooden cross-back chairs,20 x 6ft rectangular tables for seating, 4 x 8ft rectangular tables for a buffet, 12 ft long live edge wooden tables for a buffet or dessert table, 4 wooden bar height tables, several long timber benches

There is a large stage for a band/dj with lighting provided.

We provide two basic outdoor portable toilets with a hand washing station. An outdoor canopy will be set up in this area if it is raining.

Decor Items available that are included: wood round table centerpieces, rustic wooden table numbers, battery candles, milk bottle vases, vintage mason jars, large timber benches, vintage cooler on wheels, large wooden live edge table (12 ft long) (ideal for dessert/food), vintage golden yellow couch.

Designated area for a bartender with a unique rustic bar. There is access to a refrigerator and a large freezer with ice on the lower level of the barn.

One water cooler and/or simple water pump with two full water containers. There is no running water in the barn. Water containers can be filled at the well house or you can purchase water.

There will be an appropriate number of garbage and recycling cans/bags.

Outdoor seating area with Adirondack chairs and fire pit (weather permitting).

Ample parking in the front field of the property with a parking sign.

RBF would also be glad to facilitate a walk-through of the barn and property to meet and go through the options together onsite. Please let me know if this is something you are interested in!

RBF is also willing to book an on-site tour for photographers ahead of the big day.

Laura Blois will be on site for set up and readily available on-site if any further help is needed regarding the property/venue throughout the wedding day.
You will be responsible for:

Laura Blois is not your wedding planner! You must hire the appropriate staff to ensure your event runs smoothly and successfully.

Hiring caterers, bartending service, a wedding planner and any extra helpers to set up, wedding officiant, DJ/ band, sound system, photographer, etc.

You provide all your linens, dishes, flowers, additional decor, etc.

You are required to hire a bartending service that provides bartenders and Liquor Licence if you are serving alcohol. Guests are not permitted to BYOB nor are you allowed to serve homemade alcohol. If you set up your own bar, you will need to purchase a liquor license, all alcohol must be purchased from NSLC with a receipt and liquor license on-site. You must ensure that there are qualified bartenders to serve the drinks.

Ensuring that your garbage is properly sorted and stored that evening. No food items may be left out overnight. If your garbage is not properly sorted, there will be an additional charge.

A damage deposit of $800 will be returned to you 2 weeks after the event. This will also ensure the reservation of your rental date.

If you would like to rent a toilet trailer you will be responsible for renting this yourself. Confirmation of rental and delivery day/time will need to be provided to Laura Blois one month prior to the wedding day.

Providing transportation for your guests to get home safely (order taxis ahead of time, designated drivers or a shuttle service)
