Our Beef

Our Purebred Black Angus beef is raised with rotational grazing of pasture grasses. This ensures that the cows are frequently eating the most succulent and tender shoots of grass that promote vigorous growth. They are not grain-finished. In the winter the beef cows are fed hay that is made on the farm in the summer. 

They eat only grass and hay from Round Barn Farm. This provides for nice lean and healthy cuts of meat for the customer. All beef is butchered at Withrows Farm Market. Each side is dry-aged for 2-3 weeks.

How to Order

If you have never ordered from us before, please consider carefully what you are buying before placing an order. I am selling you a freshly cut (not frozen) product. Do not order beef from me if you can't pick it up the day I have it butchered unless we make prior arrangements. I don't have freezer space to store it for you.

*As a reminder, all the beef is hanging for three weeks for taste and then cut by an excellent local butcher. Pick-up will be at the farm gate unless otherwise arranged. It will be freshly cut on the day of pick up. It is vacuum-packed for your freezer.
